She had been wealthy to begin with, and she used her heiress status to make her establishment exceedingly wealthy. Unfortunately for her, she also became extremely greedy, and would refuse to pay the rum runners, bootleggers or even her band adequate wages. Eventually her gangsters were so fed up with her stinginess that they murdered her, firing-squad style. Before her death she stashed her money in the underground passages below her establishment, and she guards the treasure to this day. At first, she was pretty upset about being turned on, but it seems almost a century has cooled her temper a bit. She's more likely to strike up a conversation with a would-be thief and then do something ghostly to scare them off then pose an actual threat.
I couldn't resist the call of the 20's. I know, didn't I already do a flapper ghost? Well, #81 is a more "casual" flapper and her dress is later in the era. This chick's fringe and FEATHER BOA (WOAH) are much earlier and more "formal". Also, she had black hair in my original design, but that would be wayyy to similar to #79 and I don't make enough blondes anyway.
